Steve Norwood

Steve Norwood is a singer-songwriter based in Girdwood, Alaska, whose music is rooted in folk, rock, bluegrass, and country and mixes original songs with covers. A founding member of the Alaska jam band Photonz, he has been playing music in Alaska for more than 20 years. In recent years he has focused on solo work, also performing under the name SoloSteve, and appears regularly at Girdwood-area and Southcentral Alaska events.

His recorded output includes the albums 'King of the Mountain' (2015) and 'Thin Ice' (2018), along with more recent singles including 'Rainy River' (2024) and 'Wild Hearts' (2026), available on streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music.
