Biography
H3 is a Hawaiian-influenced reggae band based in Anchorage, Alaska, formed in 2001 by Shaun Pacarro and George Noga, both originally from Hawaiʻi, who began playing together with Tau Vaaia Fakaoti at Humpy's Great Alaskan Alehouse in Anchorage.
Drummer Lee Thompson joined the band in 2006 after relocating from Texas, and keyboardist Alex Cruver, who grew up in Eagle River, joined the lineup later. The band performs island-reggae interpretations of pop, rock, country, and reggae songs.
H3 performs regularly across Southcentral Alaska, including recurring appearances at Anchorage's Live After Five summer concert series, the Bear Paw Festival in Eagle River, and other community and festival events, sustaining an active local performing career for more than two decades.
