Finger Lake in the race
Finger Lake marks the start of the serious climbing. Beyond it the trail tackles the steep, twisting terrain leading up to Rainy Pass — some of the most technical sledding of the race.
Mile markers are approximate and shift with the year's route. Finger Lake sits on the southcentral leg of the 2027 southern route.
